I ran across a great quote the other day-- "beauty will save the world." And I thought well, maybe so... bombs and bullets haven't done much good. Ugliness gets us nowhere fast... I do believe Beauty transforms things-- like bad situations, hard things, hearts.
The past two weeks I've received (we've received) love from the most exquisitely beautiful hearts. I didn't cook for a week. Friends and neighbors brought the most wonderful meals-- even delivered to us at a ball game one night. Yep, those are our friends and neighbors. We're very lucky. And the emails... from people I've never met, how kind you are. I am so touched and grateful to all my blog friends. Thank you so much.
And last, but definately not least, the Warner family tribe. I was thinking at my Moms' funeral how happy I'll bet it makes Grandma Warner when she looks down from heaven to see all her kids still taking such good care of each other. All of you know just the right things to say, and do, and cook! Thanks for being so good to my Mom and Dad.
Yesterday, while I was doing dishes and watching the birds at their bird feeders, thinking about my Mom and mulling over the last two weeks, I saw a perfect heart made from light and shadows on a branch... Now I've been looking at that tree while I do my dishes for five years, and I've never seen the light configure into a heart. By the time I ran outside to get this photo, the light had started to change, but for a minute, the light formed a perfect-shaped heart. I mean a perfect-shaped heart. I'm going to take that as a really nice message from the universe...
Today is our twenty-first wedding anniversay. Yesterday, Mike sent me this gorgeous summery bouquet. The card read, Dear Kelly, I love you dearly, And with all of My Heart. Micheal.
Lotsa grace going on in my life.
Saturday, we'll be celebrating Mikes' parents' 50th wedding anniversary in Ohio. We're going to drive on over to Virginia Beach for a few days after the anniversary party. I'm planning on playing with kids, soaking in the healing energy of the waves, and maybe finding a heart-shaped rock or two.
Be back in a week or so my friends...
Lots and lots of love to you,
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
Glad to see that you're back here with us!
That heart on the tree blew me away! You are full of heart, so the Universe gives you "hearts" everywhere, people, places, and things.
Have a great time in VA Beach.
