mother and wife, designer and artist.
I live in a pretty little mountain town in Utah. I'm a mom to four and wife to one, a designer and artist in between... I craft from my home studio.
Like other artists, my art reflects my interests and loves. My inspiration comes from many places; family life, women and children, nature, great quotes, unexpected beauty, and the desire to share these loves with others.
I began crafting and creating around age four. Whatever bits and pieces I could gather from around the house became material for doll furniture, bug houses, and the like. I drew fairies in enchanted woods by the hour. By college my interests drew me to interior design classes and I received a degree in interior design. I spent several years working for various interior design companies, but my occupation wasn't all that I had hoped for and I found my way back to my true vocation in art. I have since worked happily as a freelance project designer for Sterling/Chapelle Publishing, Rockport Publishing, The Vanessa-Ann Collection, Offray Ribbon, Craftopia.com, and the Russ Berrie Company.
Thanks for stopping by my little blog. I'm so happy I discovered "blogland". I love sharing my creative pursuits and home life with you.
Take care,
Kelly
